SOCIETY LAUNCHES AUTUMN MENU FEATURING SEASONAL DISHES AND AUTUMN BEERS

Society, Manchester’s independent hub of street food, craft beer, wine, and cocktails, has ushered in the new season by unveiling a gorgeous new autumn menu courtesy of the independent traders on site.

All five of Society’s street food specialists have created new dishes for October whilst Vocation Brewery is pouring a cracking selection of autumnal beers to match.

Featuring seasonal ingredients, flavours from around the world and pumpkin spice mayo, highlights from the new menu include:

  • Pumpkin Cream Pizza from Noi Quattro pizzeria. Their signature Neapolitan crust with a pumpkin cream base, Italian sausage, ricotta, toasted pumpkin seeds and crispy fried sage.
  • Incorporating the season’s hottest ingredients into their Asian street food menu, Manzoku have introduced a spiced pumpkin bao and a pumpkin-based variation on their iconic katsu curry with panko breaded pumpkin, pickles and java curry sauce. Other new seasonal dishes include a hoisin duck uramaki roll, sriracha fries and a cucumber salad with sesame and chilli.
  • Prepping for colder evenings and cosy dinners, Yoki Social Table have got a seasonal tteokbokki dish made with traditional Korean rice cakes, fish cakes and a signature chilli paste for that extra kick. It’s topped with mozzarella, a soft boiled egg and crispy fried veggie roll.
  • Chaat Cart are spicing things up with new wings, skewers and sides inspired by owner Aarti’s childhood in South India. Equal parts sticky, sweet and spicy, there’s the honey and tamarind chicken wings that go great with a portion of gunpowder fries. There’s also the homemade gurkha lamb skewers with a yoghurt and coriander dip and a classic puri chaat.
  • Slap & Pickles’ spooky season special is a stacked Halloween burger with their signature Swaledale double beef smash-patties, pumpkin spice mayo, lettuce, double cheese and maple-glazed crispy bacon on a toasted charcoal bun

If you’re looking for some new sippers to try from Society’s massive range of craft beer taps, there’s also some seasonal beers that will be pouring over the next couple of weeks to wash down those street food specials.

There’s the…
