KAJI to offer luxury ‘Chippy Tea’ for Good Friday

KAJI, Manchester’s premier dining destination for bold, fire-inspired flavours, is offering the ultimate Good Friday meal this Bank Holiday 18th April – a reimagined five-course ‘chippy tea’ with a luxury twist (£45pp).

This decadent offering flips the Northern classic on its head and elevates it with fire, finesse and big flavours.

Guests will enjoy a selection of snacks including fire-toasted bread with smoked seaweed butter and a rich, umami-packed Wagyu fat-infused miso broth. For starters, choose between Wye Valley asparagus with crispy egg and shiso hollandaise, or an XO crab gratin with toasted panko and spring onion. Mains feature either KAJI Fish & Chips – tempura haddock, chippy chips, wasabi peas, katsu curry sauce, nori tartare, and vinegar scraps – or the Ox Cheek Suet Pudding, slow-braised in suet pastry with chippy chips and umami gravy. Finish with a dessert of sticky toffee pudding with miso caramel and clotted cream, or a decadent dark chocolate and Wagyu fat cheesecake.

Guests can enjoy KAJI’s delicious range of premium wines alongside the meal, and even receive special wine pairings from KAJI’s in-house sommelier for an experience to remember.

And parents can rejoice, as kids under 10 can enjoy KAJI’s curated kid’s menu for free!

The offering is available all day from 1pm, so whether guests are after an early indulgence or a late-night treat, KAJI is the ultimate spot to celebrate this Bank Holiday Friday.
