Manchester’s Trafford Palazzo is continuing to expand its health and wellbeing offering with the opening of a major new Everlast Gyms+ flagship this weekend.
The 28,000 sq ft performance-led gym will open on Saturday (7 March), marking a significant new leisure addition for the TraffordCity destination and further strengthening Trafford Palazzo’s position as a growing hub for fitness, retail and lifestyle experiences.
The new Everlast Gyms+ brings together elite training, recovery and nutrition under one roof, and will also act as a showcase location for Everlast Gyms’ newly announced partnership with Nike Strength.
To celebrate the opening, the gym will host ‘24HRS for Hatton’, a 24-hour boxing event raising funds for the Ricky Hatton Foundation and highlighting the role sport can play in supporting mental health. Manchester boxer Pat ‘Bomber’ Brown will take part alongside members of the local boxing community.
The site features a dedicated HYROX Performance Centre, a boutique Reformer Pilates studio, premium recovery facilities including ice baths and sauna, and an on-site Myprotein Kitchen.
Leandra Dwyer, Asset Manager at Trafford Palazzo, said the opening is a “significant signing” for the destination and reflects its continued focus on creating a dynamic, experience-led environment that encourages longer visits and supports the evolving lifestyle needs of guests.
