A WORLD OF ENCHANTMENT AWAITS THIS WINTER: A BRAND-NEW WINTER LIGHT SHOW – THE TWILIGHT TRAIL AT MAYFIELD PARK SOUNDTRACKED BY THE ICONIC LA DISCOTHEQUE AND DISCO LEGEND DJ KENNY DOPE

A first for Mayfield Park this Christmas, The Twilight Trail is set to illuminate Manchester with a brand-new winter light show. Unlocking the gates after dusk, The Twilight Trail transforms Mayfield Park into a twinkling, city-centre escape. Running from Friday 17 November until Sunday 31 December.

Topping the line-up of astonishing visual installations, The Twilight Trail is set to have a musical curation by the iconic and much-loved Manchester based collective La Discotheque. To celebrate the first ever Twilight Trail, La Discotheque has invited the internationally acclaimed DJ and Producer Kenny Dope to soundtrack the light trail as visitors immerses themselves with the special mix.

Taking over the 6.5-acre Mayfield Park, visitors can expect to experience the park at night this festive season with never-before-seen immersive light displays, lantern installations, and a captivating soundscape.

Explore the trail to discover an array of installations including a Spirograph tunnel, fairy-light tunnel, followed by abstract light installation and a disco under the bridges with stunning mirror ball installations.

The path leads to a magical wonderland, boasting a giant modern cone style Christmas tree surrounded by huge Christmas presents and more. In addition to this, Mayfield Park’s children playground is transformed into a wondrous night-time adventure, impressively lit up to be experienced like never before.

The Twilight Trail will also host a range of festive traders including a mulled wine bar, Jubel Beer Bar and a hot chocolate hut serving indulgent hot chocolates with chantilly cream and sticky toffee pudding. Auntie Jack’s sweet emporium will also serve a whole host of festive treats such as candy floss, freshly made warm doughnuts, and more.

The Twilight Trail is the perfect inner-city Christmas destination designed for all ages, from families, couples, groups, and everyone in between. The budget-friendly festive destination is strategically located in city centre, just a short 5-minute walk from Manchester Piccadilly Station providing easy transport link including trains, trams and buses.

This immersive winter light show is the first event of its kind at Mayfield Park. Affordable tickets are available now – with adult ticket (13+) of £9 and child ticket (3-12) of £7 for November dates, and adult ticket (13+) of £10 and child ticket (3-12) of £8 for December dates. Under 2s go free across all dates. Family ticket (2 adults and 2 children) available at £28 for November dates and £32 for December dates.
