FREIGHT ISLAND PRESENTS A FIREWORKS EXTRAVAGANZA AT MAYFIELD PARK IN COLLABORATION WITH WALK THE PLANK

Freight Island is teaming up with the UK’s leading creators of outdoor spectacle Walk the Plank to present Fireworks Extravaganza at Manchester’s award-winning Mayfield Park on Bonfire Night weekend from Friday 1st November until Sunday 3rd November.

Renowned for innovative and exciting design work, Walk the Plank is set to display a spectacular 10-minute fireworks display. Hosted across three dates, from Friday 1st November until Sunday 3rd November, doors open at 5.30pm until 7pm with firework display at 6.30pm. An additional late slot available on Saturday 2nd November, from 7.30pm until 9pm with firework display at 8.30pm.

Their focus on music really allows us to create an experience where sound and fireworks work together seamlessly. This event will be an exciting blend of music and fireworks against the backdrop of the stunning Park, offering something memorable for everyone.”

Tickets to Fireworks Extravaganza at Mayfield Park are priced at £10 (Early Bird) / £12 (General Release) for adults, £6 (Early Bird) / £8 (General Release) for kids (aged 3-16) and free under 2s. Family tickets are available (2 adults and 2 kids) for £28 (Early Bird) / £35 (General Release).

Taking over the 6.5-acres of Mayfield Park – which has welcomed more than 200,000 people since opening two years ago – ticketholders can expect an outdoor spectacle featuring a 10-minute fireworks display, free sparklers for kids, and access to the Park’s traders serving mulled wine, hot chocolate, and candy floss.
