Free Bird for Everyone! Yard & Coop Feeds Manchester for Free

Yard & Coop, Manchester’s first speciality fried chicken restaurant, will be hosting its fourth Big Chook Off this February. And this time, it’s not just those jammy students getting involved with the clucking free chicken.

On Wednesday 8 February, the restaurant will be feeding the people of Manchester, with ONE THOUSAND pieces of FREE buttermilk fried chicken, completely up for grabs to diners that visit the Edge Street restaurant throughout the day.

Following its huge success with students and businesses, this February’s Big Chook Off gives every single person in Manchester, from families, couples, businesses to students and tourists the chance to stock up, tuck in and get involved with some of the best chicken in the North West, all for free.

Carl Morris, co-owner of Yard & Coop, comments: “The first two months of the new year always feel pretty bleak, so we thought what better way to cheer up all those Manchester folks with the chance to tuck into a delicious and succulent bird, all for free.

“Our previous Big Student Chook Offs have been such a huge success. This time, we didn’t want the rest of Manchester feeling left behind, so we’re looking forward to sharing the love with everyone across the city and introducing our epic buttermilk fried chicken to some new faces. We know it won’t disappoint.

“The Big Chook Off; it’s free chicken with no wings attached – and yes, we always love a pun.”

To receive your free plate of buttermilk fried chicken and chips, all customers need to do is sign up to Yard & Coop database, this can be done at or in the restaurant on the day. The Big Chook Off starts at 12pm till 12am on Wednesday 8 February.

Yard & Coop will be providing one piece of buttermilk chicken and chips per person, with one thousand to give away. When it’s gone it’s gone.
