A brand new and exciting bar and event space is set to open in Manchester this month, as The Bread Shed will take over the former Pub/Zoo site on Grosvenor Street following an investment of over £450,000 into the overhaul of the site.
Scheduled to open its doors on the 25th August 2017, the venue is split into two sections to offer guests refreshed and refined spaces to suit their moods, whether they’re looking for somewhere to sip on drinks with friends, tuck into no-nonsense food or enjoy some of the best entertainment Manchester has to offer.
With a large, open space appropriately prepared to host a range of events throughout the week, The Bread Shed has devised a winning formula so that every member of the community is delivered something hot and fresh whenever they visit. Live bands and comedians will perform take the space on a weekly basis, with room for club nights for fans of K-Pop, guilty pleasures and alternative hits midweek and into the weekend. The space will also air a range of NFL and wrestling matches, ensuring guests are kept up to date with all the sporting action taking place around the globe.
Paying homage to the site’s history as the Duncan & Foster bakery in the twentieth century, the second room is appropriately named Flour & Flagon and will be the go-to place for students that won’t settle for anything less than the best. Serving a range of cask beers, cocktails and specialist gins, the room also has a menu full of honest grub including burgers, pies, grills and big plates.
What’s more, with a range of offers and promotions all week long, customers have even more reason to come to The Bread Shed for a good time. The Flour & Flagon room will offer food & drink deals on cask beer and big burgers on Tuesdays, before enjoy 2-for-1 cocktails and Happy Hour between 5 – 8pm on Fridays, so whether you prefer a classic martini or pint of good cask beer, you know where to head.
Hayes, General Manager at The Bread Shed, said: “We can’t wait to open our doors and show the people of Manchester what we’re all about! We’ve cherry-picked our offer to ensure that we’ve cut out all the gimmicks and fads, so that customers can rely on, and trust us to provide something that they will love – whether that’s good food, good beer or a good night watching one of our live acts or coming to one of our club nights.”
The venue will celebrate its opening with launch party on Saturday 9th September 2017. For more information and to RSVP, email Ben, Philly or Laura on Venues@lucre.co.uk or call 020 8741 5900.
