MANCHESTER CHARITY, HIGH FIVE ANNOUNCES SPECIAL PARTY FOR VICTIMS OF THE MANCHESTER ARENA ATTACK, TO BE HELD AT THE BLACK DOG BALLROOM NQ BUNKER.
Since its inception back in 2010, High Five, a charity event founded by Andrew Scott has raised over £20,000 for various charities, including Macmillan, Save the Children and various local Manchester charities. For their latest ‘raving for a reason’ event, The Bunker at Black Dog Ballroom NQ will be welcoming the latest High Five on Saturday 25th November in aid of a family severely affected by the terrible attack at Manchester Arena.
Back in May our great city was rocked by this incident that would change the lives of many forever. One of those people was Martin Hibbert who was caught up in the atrocity along with his daughter, Eve, tragically Martin was left paralysed from the waist down. Since then Martin has been coming to terms with this and his story was recently captured on the documentary Manchester: 100 days after the attack. The way that he has coped with how this will change his life is truly inspirational, so High Five decided to help Martin, Eve and their family with the more practical adjustments they are going to need to make, and that is where ALL the proceeds of this High Five will be going.
As ever we, High Five have pulled together a line-up of DJs who know how to deliver. First up a pair who have over 30 years combined experience of playing in Manchester, and every High Five event since the beginning, The Warehouse Project residents Krysko and Greg Lord. They will also be joined by one half of AudioJack, James Rial, who will be flying in from Ibiza just to play this event. As ever these guys are doing this for nothing so we can maximise the money raised for this very special cause.
Running from 10:00 – 04:00am on Saturday 25th November, tickets are available at a standard price of £10 per ticket, or £25 + a bottle of Prosecco, tickets can be purchased here – https://www.skiddle.com/whats-on/Manchester/Black-Dog-Ballroom-NQ/High-Five/13057204/ – with all proceeds going to Martin Hibbert and his family.
