The events are taking place from 5th-10th February and follow the sell-out vegan Taste Tour experience from last year. On the winning 5-course menu will be 7 vegan dishes to choose from. These include a classic Pad Thai option, a Black Pepper Tofu Stir-Fry and the tasty Japanese noodle broth dish, Katsu Udon Soup. Also, on the menu are Corn Fritters, a vibrantly green Kale and Coconut Stir-Fry and a Mango Sorbet to finish! Delightful.

‘’We cooked up the idea of running Taste Tours to encourage people to come along and explore a range of dishes that they may not have tried before in a relaxed, casual-dining atmosphere. It’s our hope that the events open up new options to our diners and that maybe some will even find their new favourite dish.’’

The last two years have seen a boom in vegan restaurants across Greater Manchester, but Tampopo is no stranger to veggie cuisine, with an already long-established vegan offering. The dedicated menu is 25 dishes strong and one of Manchester’s best kept secrets for people who live life on the veg. Whether you’re vegetarian, vegan, flexitarian or just taking a bit more care around what you eat, there’s something for everyone.

‘’At Tampopo, vegan food isn’t just for January! We have been running the experiences for a while across our Manchester restaurants and the vegan Taste Tours in particular have been our most popular! It’s not surprising given the uptake that veganism has had in recent years.’’

Tickets for the vegan taste tour events are limited and are sure to be a sell-out success with the experience priced at just £18. The Taste Tours are running at all Tampopo restaurants around the city, with tickets available to purchase now through Eventbrite for the Corn ExchangeAlbert Square and Trafford Centre restaurants. Book now to avoid disappointment!
