Situated in the heart of Manchester’s financial district, Bill’s Spinningfields is famed for its friendly, welcoming atmosphere and seasonal offering. New to the scene is selection of tempting winter dishes and a Christmas menu.

The cosy interiors and eclectic menu of healthy and indulgent options, which change with the seasons, make Bill’s Spinningfields the ideal spot for dinner and drinks. This month sees the launch of its winter menu additions. The menu features a selection of comforting and warming starters, mains and desserts, all made with seasonal ingredients, perfect to enjoy with friends and family.

As the weather gets colder warm-up with a starter of Sweet Potato and Ginger Soup, served with pink peppercorns and toasted focaccia. Mains include a tantalizing Beetroot and Glazed Goat’s Cheese Risotto drizzled with rosemary honey and served with pea shoots and kale – a feel good dish all round, pleasing for your taste-buds and for every purchase of this dish Bill’s will donate 50p to its chosen charity, Mental Health UK. Try the Spiced Cauliflower and Butternut Squash Falafel Bowl for some nourishment, featuring ancient grains, cauliflower couscous, kale, spring onion and pickled red onion served with a turmeric and mint soy yoghurt. To finish, indulge in Millionaire’s Sundae, served with vanilla ice cream, shortbread crumb and a show-stopping gold chocolate sphere drizzled with warm caramel sauce. Comfort on a plate, the Warm Banoffee Doughnuts are coated in salted caramel and sliced banana, crumbed chocolate flake and topped with whipped cream.

Bill’s Spinningfields new Christmas specials are also now available, until the end of December. Featuring an array of starters to suit all tastes, including Feta, Walnut, Cranberry and Apple Salad, Wild Mushroom Soup, Smoked Salmon and a Smoked Chicken Terrine. Mains include Pigs in Blankets Mac & Cheese, an ingenious combo of two indulgent favourites – cranberry topped mac & cheese with pigs and blankets served with green leaf salad and cranberry sauce. For all the flavours of Christmas in a burger go for the Beef, Bacon and Brie Burger with fig and cranberry sauce, baby gem lettuce, mayonnaise and fries, and if you’ve got the appetite, upgrade to a double patty! Healthier options include Pumpkin, Fig and Chestnut Roast and Pan-Fried Sea Bass. Enjoy sides of Pigs in Blankets, Long Stem Broccoli and Brussel Sprouts and Baby Spinach, while the dessert menu features takes on classic favourites – Christmas Sticky Toffee Pudding, Chocolate Orange Mousse and Panettone Bread and Butter Pudding. No Christmas meal would be the same without a Cheeseboard, a selection of three cheeses complimented with fig and cranberry chutney, oatcakes and walnuts.

The Festive Set Menu is available for walk-ins priced at £24.95 for three-courses and served from 11.30am. Bill’s also offer a dedicated menu for Christmas parties*.

Bill’s Manchester comes to life in the evenings with vibrant cocktails, and to completement their Christmas menu, a dedicated Christmas Cocktails menu. Winter Wonderland combines Aperol, fresh orange juice, Prosecco & lemon sorbet while the Gingerbread White Russian is a concoction of Wyborowa vodka, Frangelico, gingerbread syrup, milk & cream and served with a gingerbread man. For something punchier, try the Warm Gin Punch, Bill’s Homemade Irish Whiskey Liqueur or Bill’s Salted Caramel Irish Cream. Hot options include Boozy Hot Chocolate and Hazelnut or a Gingerbread White Hot Chocolate – guaranteed to warm you up.

Bill’s Spinningfields located at 3 Hardman Square accommodates up to 96 covers, featuring cosy booths, sociable sharing tables, co-working space and a bespoke bar area. There is also external seating, in the heart of Spinningfields, for 26 covers. Open Monday – Thursday 7am – 11pm, Friday 7am – 1pm, Saturday 8am – 1am, and Sunday 9am – 10.30pm.
