Rosso Restaurant will be serving their Valentine’s Day three-course menu on Tuesday, February 14 at their iconic venue on King Street, Manchester. The luxurious menu is priced at £80 per person with tables available from 5PM.
Arching across the doorway, Rosso’s outer wall has been covered in hundreds of red roses to celebrate the approaching holiday. A sign with “From Rosso With Love” in neon sits above as the restaurant prepares to welcome enamoured couples in celebration.
Inside, guests are greeted with a 3D geometric heart restfully installed alongside a waterfall of more red roses arching up and down the notable pillars. Known for the perfect photo opportunity; Rosso’s famous mirrors are also adorned with Rosso’s Valentines message, as well as the overlooking grandiose dome above dining guests.
Guests have the choice between three starters depending on dietary requirements; the Carpaccio Di Pesce Spada, is an enticing swordfish carpaccio with pink peppercorns and grapefruit; for meat lovers there is the Toast Di Pollo Fritto Con, a perfectly prepared fried chicken and black truffle toast, topped with sesame and honey. The vegetarian option is a savoury Agnolotti Misti Diolive e Burrata, apulian olive and burrata duet agnolotti in a light vegetable broth. For mains, guests can opt for either the Filetti Di Manzo Con Gamberi Rossi, dry aged fillet of beef with Sicilian red prawns in a smoked garlic and lemon butter sauce, the Branzino Ripieno Al Limone, a holm oak charcoal baked whole sea bass stuffed with scented wild rice sultanas and flat herbs accompanied by grilled baby courgettes, or the vegan Biscetta Vegana; redefined vegan beef steak served with spiced cauliflower fregola and fried caper berries with a fire-roasted tomato sauce.
Guests are urged to leave a little room for the Panna Cotta Al Miele E Rabarbaro, a honey and rhubarb panna cotta with white chocolate for dessert.
Guests can choose from thematic cocktails expertly crafted to accompany the Valentine’s cuisine from £14; including Her Scent, a Tanqueray mix of spices, ginger and lime, and Irreplaceable, a citrus infused Singleton concoction.
