The Gladiators Experience at the NEC Birmingham has announced The Final Whistle Weekend, extending its run for one final weekend on Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 September – and giving fans the chance to attempt to beat Gladiator Legend’s record on The Wall.

To celebrate the grand finale, visitors will have the opportunity to compete for £3,000 in cash prizes, making it the biggest and most exciting weekend in the Experience’s history.

Each day, the adult contender with the fastest Eliminator time will win £1,000, while £500 will be awarded to the first contender to beat the record set by Legend when he tackled The Wall during a visit to the Experience earlier this year.

Every ticket purchased for The Final Whistle Weekend will also be automatically entered into a prize draw to win VIP tickets to the Gladiators Live Tour, including an exclusive Meet & Greet with the Gladiators.

Alongside the headline competitions, visitors can enjoy a packed programme of family-friendly entertainment, including Gladiators fancy dress competitions, interactive family challenges, trivia quizzes and a host of additional giveaways, creating a fitting finale for one of the UK’s most exciting immersive attractions.

The Gladiators Experience is currently running at the NEC Birmingham until 31 August, before returning for The Final Whistle Weekend on 5 and 6 September. Spanning more than 100,000 square feet, the immersive attraction gives visitors the chance to step into the world of Gladiatorsthrough a series of adrenaline-fuelled challenges inspired by the hit television show, alongside interactive exhibits, authentic memorabilia and exclusive behind-the-scenes experiences.

Summer holiday bookings are now open, with Family Contender tickets available from £25 per person for selected Monday to Friday afternoon sessions (3.00pm and 3.30pm) between 20 July and 31 August. With demand expected to be high, visitors are encouraged to book early to secure their preferred date.

While The Final Whistle Weekend marks the end of the Gladiators Experience for 2026, fans won’t have to wait long to keep the Gladiators excitement going. The Gladiators Live Tour kicks off at P&J Live, Aberdeen, on 10 October, before heading to Glasgow OVO Hydro, London OVO Arena Wembley, Manchester AO Arena, Newcastle Utilita Arena, Liverpool M&S Bank Arena and bp pulse LIVE, Birmingham, bringing the action, athleticism and spectacle of the hit TV show to arenas across the UK.
