The Rex has launched two new autumnal menus at Reign, the hotel’s signature restaurant, bringing refined seasonal dining to the heart of Manchester. The Autumn Afternoon Tea introduces a selection of new savoury favourites, including chicken with red pesto, sundried tomatoes and mature Cheddar with onion chutney, while seasonal sweet treats include pumpkin cheese mousse, pear tart with custard and Chantilly cream, and chestnut honey cake. Served against sweeping views of the Manchester skyline, Afternoon Tea at The Rex offers an elegant setting for an indulgent autumn afternoon.

Also new for the season, the Autumn Tasting Menu showcases a selection of beautifully crafted dishes inspired by autumn’s rich flavours. Highlights include Crown Prince pumpkin with brown butter, sea buckthorn, sage and goat’s curd; sea bass with fennel, grapes and Champagne sauce; and venison with beetroot, blackberry and celeriac. Together, the new menus offer an elevated take on autumn dining at this iconic Manchester address, pairing sophisticated seasonal cuisine with a stylish setting and sweeping city views.
