20 Years of Terror: Farmaggedon Celebrates 20th Anniversary in 2026

For 20 years, thousands of people have stepped into the darkness at Farmaggedon, testing their nerves against some of the North West’s best-known scare attractions.

This Halloween, Farmaggedon celebrates its 20th anniversary, returning to Farmer Ted’s in Ormskirk, Lancashire, with five scare houses, live entertainment, fairground rides, food, drink and a brand-new experience.

Running on selected nights from 26th September to 31st October 2026, Farmaggedon offers a full night of scares and entertainment for those brave enough to enter.

What began as a single scare house has grown into a multi-attraction Halloween experience, attracting visitors from across the UK and earning numerous awards and accolades, including recognition as one of the Top 25 Haunts in the World.

And for its 20th anniversary year, there is something new to face.

Welcome to Hellucination

For 2026, Contagion has been reimagined as Hellucination, a new scare house designed to make visitors question what they are seeing.

Hellucination joins Meat Locker, Maze of Death and Beast of Terror, while those wanting to take their night further can also enter The Facility. Together, the five scare houses give visitors plenty of opportunities to test their nerves, with each attraction bringing its own setting, characters and scares.

More Than a Scare Attraction

Farmaggedon is about more than what happens inside the scare houses. Throughout the evening, visitors can enjoy live bands at the House of Rock, DJs, and performers, while aerialists, dancers and flash mobs add to the atmosphere around the site. There is also the Fear Go Round, bringing a CarnEvil twist to traditional fairground rides.

With live entertainment, street theatre, food and drink alongside the scare houses, visitors can make an entire night of their trip to Farmaggedon.

Eat, Drink and Steady Your Nerves

For those needing a break between scares, Death Warmed Up serves burgers, hot dogs, loaded nachos, chips and sweet treats. There is also The Zombie Arms, an on-site bar serving beer, cider, wine and spirits for visitors aged 18 and over.

Two Decades of Screams

Farmaggedon has come a long way since its beginnings as a single scare house. Over two decades, it has developed into a large-scale Halloween experience combining scare attractions with live entertainment, rides, food and drink. The attraction has built a strong following among horror fans and has been recognised as one of the Top 25 Haunts in the World. Its 20th anniversary season celebrates that history while looking ahead to what comes next, with Hellucination joining the line-up for 2026.
