We have thought long and hard and we have come up with the best pubs and bars in Manchester to watch the 2016 European Football Championships.
The finals start on June 10th with the home nation (France) kicking the tournament off against Romania at 8pm. England’s first game is the day after against Russia at 8pm.
There are obviously lots of bars in Manchester so we have narrowed it down to the 5 best places you can watch England crash out miserably.
Shooters Sports Bar (Printworks) More information
If you love steins, sausage and soccer (see what we did there) then Shooters is the place for you. It’s based inside Bierkeller in the Printworks and it is the perfect place to watch the football. Covered in huge TV’s and lots of room for big groups the atmosphere will be amazing! You can get packages for the events which includes 2 drinks, a hot dog or burger, VIP seating for the big screen TV and waitress service for £15pp.
Black Dog Ballroom (all three locations) More information
Black Dog Ballroom are showing all 51 games of the competition and have some great offers on during games including free food at half times and free food every time a team from the UK scores. To go along with this Black Dog has a number of large TV’s and good priced drinks to make it a great place to watch the games. Manchester235 (Great northern) More information
Mainly acting as a casino, Manchester235 is a little different from the rest. They will be showing every game in there private 235LIVE suite. You can buy tickets for the games from just £10pp and they include a great view of the game 3 bottles of beer and a free bet on blackjack or roulette.
Café Football (Old Trafford) More information
This place is dedicated to the beautiful game and one of the best places to watch a match. Owned by Gary Neville and Ryan Giggs these guys know how to do it right with 13 plasma TV’s, a football themed menu and great atmosphere during a game.
The Club House (Spinningfields) @TheClubHouseMCR
The Club House is a newly opened temporary summer sports bar in the heart of Spinningfields. With lots of TV’s great drinks and a lovely summer garden it’s the best place to watch the match if it’s a scorcher. (Wishful thinking!)
