This winter, Yuletide at Tatton Park invites adults and children alike to step into a world of folklore, curious creatures and festive mischief as the gardens come alive after dark. As dusk settles over the trees, visitors will follow winding woodland paths through a landscape filled with new installations, live performance, music, puppetry and fire.

Along the way, they might encounter acrobats dancing through the trees, fire jugglers lighting up the night, wassailers in the orchards, musicians by the lake or storytellers bringing ancient winter myths to life. Inspired by the folklore and traditions of Yuletide, the trail draws on stories of winter, nature and the supernatural.

Wandering spirits, mischievous creatures, seasonal rituals and old traditions appear throughout the gardens, creating a playful world where there is always something unexpected around the next corner.

The 2026 experience introduces a collection of new installations and visual spectacles, alongside returning favourites, giving visitors new things to discover as they explore the landscape. Yuletide is made to be

experienced at your own pace,stopping to watch a performance, following the lights through the trees, meeting strange and wonderful characters or gathering around a fire as the night unfolds.

Visitors can wrap up warm, toast marshmallows and enjoy an evening that brings together nature, folklore, performance and festive adventure.
