Liverpool’s spectacular waterfront concert series On the Waterfront has announced the highly anticipated return of Cream Classical, taking to the stage at the city’s iconic Pier Head on Saturday 19th June 2027 as the event’s second headline announcement for next summer.
Bringing together the worlds of dance music and live orchestral performance, Cream Classical reimagines some of the biggest dance anthems of all time through spectacular orchestral arrangements and powerful live vocals. Curated by K-Klass and performed by Kaleidoscope Orchestra alongside Sense of Sound singers, the show delivers a unique live experience celebrating the music and legacy of Liverpool’s legendary Cream nightclub.
Following its landmark 10th anniversary celebrations this year, Cream Classical continues to unite generations of dance music fans, transforming iconic club anthems into an unforgettable orchestral spectacle.
Set against the backdrop of Liverpool’s world-famous waterfront, the 2027 performance promises another special celebration of the city’s rich musical heritage, bringing the energy of the dancefloor to one of the UK’s most spectacular outdoor concert settings.
Cream Classical is the second headline show to be announced for On the Waterfront 2027, following the news that Jamie Webster will headline the concert series on Friday 18th June. Further announcements are still to come across the four-day event.
Tickets for Cream Classical go on general sale at 10am (GMT) on Friday 30th October. Sign up for presale access now at www.onthewaterfrontfestival.com/classical/
