Eight new horror zones will take guests deeper into the abandoned theme park than ever before
This Halloween, Scare City 2026 has announced plans to drag guests deeper into the abandoned grounds of Camelot Theme Park than ever before, with eight terrifying new zones revealed as part of the most disturbing chapter in the event’s history. The castle may have burned. The park may have been left to rot. But something has been waiting in the darkness.
Now, vast areas of Camelot that have remained untouched and inaccessible are being opened for the first time, exposing a collection of horrifying worlds where guests will be hunted, tested, deceived and forced deeper into the unknown. There is no single story to survive this year. Instead, guests will be thrown from one nightmare into another – from a Victorian barber with blood on his hands to a demonic orphanage, a cannibal settlement, a cursed forest and a military bunker where the deceased are no longer dead.
One of the most sinister new additions is Cutthroat & Co, where the polished world of a Victorian barber conceals something rotten beneath the surface. Inspired by the legend of Sweeney Todd, the barber is obsessed with perfection and his customers are about to discover exactly what that obsession means. Beneath the floorboards are the remnants of those who came before them, and some customers never leave the shop.
Elsewhere, The Devils Orphanage brings a far more unsettling kind of terror, with the sounds of children’s laughter and nursery rhymes echoing through the place where something demonic has taken root. Guests will encounter a world of innocence turned rotten, while The Skinning Shed takes them into the disturbing world of Blackroot Farm, where the Hargreaves family continue their work long after dark and the boundaries between the human and harvested have disappeared.

For those who make it beyond these horrors, there is little chance of finding safety. The Correction Facility plunges guests into the abandoned Camelot Asylum. The Settlement offers a glimpse into a world after civilisation has collapsed and Thornveil Coven takes guests into a forest controlled by an ancient circle, where paths twist, whispers follow and the woods themselves appear determined to keep intruders trapped.
CarniValley is the only surviving zone from previous editions of Scare City, but survival is no longer guaranteed. The ringmaster has transformed his world into a grotesque spectacle where freaks, outcasts and captured souls are forced to compete in increasingly brutal games. Guests will have to play along, navigate a disorientating vortex and survive the games if they want to make it through. Those who succeed become part of the attraction. Those who fail become part of it in a very different way.
Even when guests think they have escaped the horror, Rest Bite offers no guarantee of safety. The new food and bar experience has been designed as a retro diner and arcade inhabited by vampires and freaks who have their own ideas about entertainment. It may provide somewhere to eat, drink and catch your breath – but at Scare City, even the places designed for refuge have a darker purpose. Fortune-telling, strange performances and an atmosphere of constant surveillance ensure the nightmare continues even when the screams stop.
At the heart of the experience is a completely new journey through Camelot itself. A never -before used entrance and exit route has been created, stripping away any sense of recognition the moment guests step inside, as if the park has been deliberately rearranged to disorient and mislead. Familiar landmarks have been erased, replaced or left half-visible in the dark, making it impossible to trust memory or instinct.
The castle burned. The park was abandoned. But something survived.
Scare City opens on 26th September. Tickets can be purchased here.
